I love Peruvian food, the best food, jalea, ceviche, chaufa and papahuancaina yummy everything was delicious and service was phenomenal.
Amazing Peruvian breakfast and food! Very authentic. However, they overcharged us on our meal, $3 up-charge from what was clearly stated on the menu.
So I met up with some colleagues and we checked out this little hole in the wall on a very busy street that neither of us had ever been too... And I have to say Hands Down - BEST PERUVIAN FOOD around!! (And ive tried many) We sampled some Arroz mixto (mixed chaufa rice w/chkn & beef), mild Ceviche and Chicharron de Pescado (fried fish chunks, Flan, Chichamorada and Emoliente (Emolient-a traditional warm diuretic) WOW..Also, The service given by CAMELIA was top notch! She was so kind and good hearted and so patient, as we were the last customers there (Tuesday's they close at 8pm!!) She will Never turn anyone away. If you're looking for some good, reasonable Peruvian food..look no more. Give them a try, I know you will Not be disappointed. MEJOR COMIDA PERUANA...PUNTO!! EXCELENTE SERVÍCIO POR PARTE DE CAMELIA...Sin duda vengan aqui
This is my fourth time here I always stop by for lunch special ($12.00) today they got Chicken Soup to start with delicious. As a main course I chose the lo Lomo saltado which in my opinion was a let down because Lomo Saltado main ingredients is tomato + onion as a baseline however, in my plate I got one small piece of tomato which made the flavor difference than what it supposed to be. Also it was loaded with potatoes which in turn made it dry. In my opinion it should come with a bit more juice because of the potatoes plus rice. It was a let down because so far I like the food here always fresh and like mom daily cooking. Don’t let the quality suffer because this hole in the wall so far its been good. The place looks clean and the bathroom was ok. Also I will appreciate and I guess all Peruvians eating at this restaurant to serve Ají Huacatay with lunch.
We are so happy with this place. IMO, this is the best Peruvian restaurant in the area. Their breakfast platter, ceviche, and chaufa are perfect.
